Dr Patel also completed his Internal Medicine Residency and Nephrology Fellowship at Baylor College of Medicine.

He was trained in General Surgery at University of Missouri in Kansas City, MO and in Vascular Surgery at Vanderbilt University in Nashville, TN. Dr. Chang is board certified by the American Board of Surgery in General Surgery and Vascular Surgery. He is also a fellow of the American College of Surgeons and a member of the Society of Vascular Surgery. Dr. Chang is highly trained to treat diseases of the vascular system.

He went onto to complete his Residency and Fellowship at Allegheny General Hospital in Pittsburgh.He was at Charleston,WV for 3 years before moving to Houston in 2019 where he is practicing as Intervention and general nephrologist . In his spare time, he likes to travel, play sports, and spend time with his family.
